In health care we possess great purpose, do worthwhile work and have the opportunity to make a difference. Our challenge is communicating that purpose, the nature of our work and the differences we make to our communities, consumers, regulators and lawmakers. That is the reason so much of your time and ours as an association is spent educating others about the value of our services and programs.
AAHSA's Quality First, introduced in 2002 as a philosophy of quality and a framework for earning public trust, was endorsed by NYAHSA's board of directors in December 2004.
