NYAHSA Names Breuilly Board Chair
(ALBANY, NY) – Gary Breuilly, executive director of Fieldhome in Yorktown Heights, has been named chair of the board of directors of the New York Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (NYAHSA). The association represents New York’s not-for-profit, mission-driven and public long term care providers located throughout the state.
An active member of the association since 1984, Breuilly has served as a treasurer of the association, member of NYAHSA’s board of directors, member of the executive committee and member of several other active committees. In 2003, he chaired the NYAHSA Medicaid Reform Task Force.
"For 40 years, NYAHSA has been committed to serving the needs of New York's not-for-profit, mission-driven and public providers and the people they serve,” said Carl S. Young, president of NYAHSA. “I am confident that Gary Breuilly will continue NYAHSA's tradition of strong member involvement in the future of the association."
Breuilly succeeds Jo-Ann Costantino, chief executive officer of The Eddy, a member of Northeast Health with locations in New York’s Capital Region.

Founded in 1961, the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging is the only statewide organization representing the entire continuum of not-for-profit and public continuing care, including nursing homes, senior housing, adult care facilities, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living providers, and community service providers. NYAHSA’s more than 650 mission-driven members serve an estimated 500,000 New Yorkers of all ages annually.
